Today is our last day in Cusco. The team is all assembled and we are completing final shopping and getting in last minute tourist stuff for those who have never been to Cusco. We've spent the last couple of days going through things and shopping for necessities and catching up with my friend Paola who is working on her Master's degree. Dalia and Victor made some cool t-shirts for the team (#TeamPlayeros2018). Pictures of the team are to follow.
Tomorrow morning we pack the bus and head for Atalaya and the Rio Madre de Dios. We'll spend the night and take the boat in the following morning. If all goes well, we will be at Cashu by Wednesday afternoon.
