It's been too long!

It has been a while since I last posted and I realized that I should everyone updated with ongoing research. As you all can verify, the unexpected Covid-19 has seriously impacted field research. I was able to get out to Montana in May to start a field project for a NSF-funded project that is looking at how migrant birds respond to weather. We developed a lovely collaboration with the Smithsonian Conservation Institute and got a chance to have our hands on some Long-billed Curlews.

In the meanwhile, I am working to ensure that we can get some American Oystercatcher tracking started in 2021 and continue to track Black Skimmer movements along the Atlantic Coast.
