About
LRC was born out of a desire to see academic research be incorporated into current adaptive wildlife management initiatives. Land and conservation managers often have gaps in knowledge of specific species and landscapes which complicates development of future strategies as both the landscape and the climate change. It is a priority of LRC to help with filling knowledge gaps and helping to translate pure research into effective management and conservation initiatives at local and regional scales. LRC works in both academic and management fields developing science to better understand movement ecology and life history strategies and assisting with the creation of adaptive management strategies.

Mission
Our mission is the preservation of biodiversity by working with managers and conservation practitioners to fill knowledge gaps for species at risk and species that may become endangered in the future due to human and climate-induced activities.
Vision
Our vision is a trifecta of research, management, and conservation that contributes to the preservation and maintenance of biodiversity.
